Project Goal:
This website was built specifically to highlight my wedding photography and videography services. The goal was to create a visually strong homepage with immediate emotional impact and quick access to the main portfolio. Additionally, I wanted to communicate my style and working approach through a structured and storytelling-driven layout.
UX/UI Design, Visual Content, SEO, Color Scheme, Text Adjustments, Cookie Banner, GDPR & Imprint
UX Approach & Structure:
- Strong visual opening with a hero slider featuring the best images
- Prominent call-to-action button leading to the main portfolio
- Below the hero: key categories describing my style, approach, and values
- Use of storytelling to build emotional connection with potential clients
- Built SEO landing pages for over 60 nearby cities to improve local discoverability
- Structure focused on guiding users through emotion, clarity, and action
UI Design Choices:
- Full-width slideshow to capture attention immediately
- Elegant, romantic visual theme to reflect the wedding niche
- Soft color palette and refined typography for emotional tone
- Clear sections that explain my style and services visually and textually
- Responsive design for seamless experience across devices

Testing & Feedback:
Initial feedback was gathered from couples, wedding planners, and close contacts. The structure was refined to better communicate service value and emotional connection. Local SEO landing pages have successfully increased organic traffic from regional searches.
